Sheet masks are one of the most natural things to write about.
Well, six months later this post might see the first ray of light.
During last winter my skin got super dry and flakey, my acne scars turned into patches of dry skin that screamed for moisture and healing ingredients. As I was looking for a few a few new masks to try out, I ended up purchasing these. To be honest, I use different masks on a daily basis, and those did a lot for my skin. However, I had to get some more moisture into my routine.
Made by some of the most leading Korean Beauty researchers and scientist, hello M Line by Mizon! Aiming to start with science and sticking to right ingredients, and putting efforts into formulations that feature hydration technology like the patented Hydra Tox formulation and tiny molecules of hyaluronic acid – this might be something for me.
Say hi to the Enjoy Vital-Up Time Sheet Mask!
All of these masks contain the same type of essence, in fact, the vital essence used in these masks are made out of allantoin that recovers the skin condition. Enriched with Trehalose, a natural moisturizing ingredient, Hyaluronic acid, that holds up to a thousand(!!) times its own weight in water and SC-Glucan, an ingredient that soothes, hydrates and revitalizes – I might have found the pot of gold over here.
To be honest, I don’t remember how many masks they have in this line, but I tried out four of them: Soothing, Moisture, Tone Up and Whitening.
Soothing, containing lavender extracts, this mask will (hopefully) relieve sensitive skin issues. Its primary goal is to deliver hydration to dry skin.
Moisture, supposed to be great for dry skin, containing green tea extract (a great moisturizing ingredient). This mask does as well focus on providing hydration to parched skin.
Tone Up & Whitening, are both enriched with brightening and firming ingredients, their main goal is to give a healthier and more lively look.
Now, honestly. I’m going to keep this post simple. I did not like these masks. For those that might like sheet masks with thick sheets, well. This is for you then. I don’t remember which one it was, but one of them made me break out. They were a bit itchy on the skin as well. I could figure out what I exactly liked about them. At that time I gave them away to a friend of mine, but she liked them, so I guess its individual thing. Fairly, these are not bad sheet masks. They did moisturize my skin, so I can’t say that they didn’t do what they were supposed to. But the quality of these sheets really made me hate them.
