Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

Why use 22$ on a primer when you can get the same thing for $6?

The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion is one of the most famous eyeshadows primers among makeup artists. It used to be something I couldn’t live without but now, there’s a new sheriff in town. After getting into Korean skin care, I also ended up buying a lot of makeup products without even reading about them. One of my first bargains was the Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer.

When I started using this, I kinda felt like I found the true love I’ve been missing in my makeup routine. And as I ended up on Google I quickly found out that this primer is known for being the dupe of my good, old primer from Urban Decay. This primer evens out the skin tone around the eyes while making sure that neither your shadow or liner creases! Let us not forget the fact that it makes the shadow pop as well! What I like most about this primer is how it makes the makeup last longer! It holds anything in place, and even after a whole day at work or night out, it still looks amazing!

Unfortunately, I don’t have the UD primer anymore, kinda ended up throwing out when I fell in love with this. However, they have the same content, 10 ml, and for a third of the price that’s pretty good if you ask me. The packaging is a bit different, thus the one from Etude House kinda reminds me of regular eyeliner packaging. The brush is also a bit smaller, but I like it better for a precise application. The UD primer has a more neutral tone and it might have a thicker formula, but the pinkish, transparent tone here works pretty well alone too! On those days when I don’t feel like doing a full face and pat on some cushion, I just apply it on my lids so that my cushion doesn’t crease.

So, how do you apply this primer? Take the wand and dab it onto your lids, then pat it onto your upper and! lower eyelid! You might wonder why? It keeps your makeup smudge-, fade-, and crease-free the whole day. Let’s not forget the fact that its great for all skin types, including oily skin (and oily eyelids, too)!

If you are looking for a great and affordable primer, try it out! You won’t regret it.

  1. I often visit your blog and have noticed that you don’t update it often. More frequent
updates will give your page higher rank & authority in google.
I know that writing content takes a lot of time, but you can always help yourself with miftolo’s tools which will shorten the time
of creating an article to a couple of seconds.

    1. Hi Madison!
We are quite aware of that, and we do try our best to post more often. However, it’s a struggle while studying/working full time. We do have a lot of posts coming up, and a lot of products to rant about! It does take time to make sure we write our honest opinions about products, and that does include trying them out for a while. But we promise!!! More to come on the blog (currently working on a new post)!
