Let’s get down to business! I’ve been holding on to this for a while now and I actually decided to try it out while writing the last post. The pig nose clear blackhead kit comes in a super kute packaging, and its result is supposed to leave you smiling… Now let’s see about that.
This is a 3-step kit for “perfect” pore control while protecting and treating your skin. The kit is supposed to remove blackheads gently and safely. It comes with three disposable nose strips, that opens pores, removes impurities and closes them again for maximum result and future prevention. Its supposed to be so much more than a regular pose strip.
The directions are pretty simple, however, the information on the package is Korean! So I had to google to figure out how to use it. But let’s break it down; “After cleansing, place the step-1 serum patch on the nose for 15-20 mins then remove it slowly and wipe off any blackheads or impurities from pores. Wet nose with water and place the step-2 strip onto the nose. After 10-15 minutes, slowly remove it from the edge. Finally, place the last step onto the nose and remove it after 10-15 mins and gently tap the excess product for better absorption”.
Let us get down to the review;
Step 1
The patch and serum itself smell a bit strong, but the patch is really big and easy to apply. The strong scent goes away after a few mins and it does stick nicely onto my nose. There’s a lot of essence in the packaging and I applied some of it onto the patch but it was pretty soaked already. When I removed it after 20 mins I didn’t notice any blackheads or impurities coming out from my pores, however, my nose did look a bit cleaner, but my nose might not be “dirty enough?”
Step 2
After removing the first step and lightly swiping some tissue across it, I applied some water to my nose and applied the second patch. This comes with a protective film on the side that’s supposed to be applied to the nose. It goes on really easily and it forms the shape of my nose pretty easily. After 15 mins I try to remove it, and goddammit this hurts! Maybe I didn’t apply enough water? I don’t know, but damn this did hurt a lot! And the worst part, it didn’t remove that much. I still have some spots left and these are the ones that I was hoping to get rid of!
Step 3
Holy Moly! This step is so slippery I kinda felt like ditching it. It comes with 3 layers!! And two of them have to be peeled off before application. It’s the middle “jelly-ish” part that is supposed to be applied. When applied it slips away by just breathing! Omg, this is so annoying! It also feels like I have to laugh since it tickles insanely.
Well, to be honest. this didn’t do that much for me. I am a bit disappointed since I’ve been reading good things about this. Maybe people aren’t honest? Or maybe it didn’t work for me. I don’t know like it did remove some stuff but not enough?
